The Silver Bullitt Container is On the Road to Kiel

We’re back on the road again as we make our way to Germany’s sailing capital for 4 days of superior sailing action on the next leg of the Bullitt GC32 Racing Tour.

Agility is a priority in the latest GC32 race, with the compact race course at Kiel Fjord proving a totally different beast to that of the last races in Cowes. Teams’ relationships will be put to the test as members have to synchronise their efforts more than ever before to navigate the tight route to victory – and with the foiling catamarans capable of reaching speeds in excess of 30 knots, it could be a tricky route to overcome.

Thanks to its status as the home of the world’s biggest sailing event, Kiel enjoys an unusual amount of attention from sailing enthusiasts, who often turn out in their thousands to catch all the waterborne action live. The GC32 races are expected to be no different, with audiences of up to 100,000 predicted to turn up to watch the catamarans attempt to conquer the unnervingly complex course during the race days (Friday 31st July – Sunday 2nd August).

Of course, as title sponsors we will be there to get stuck in with all the action. From Thursday 30th July you’ll be able to stop by the Silver Bullitt container - located on the Kiellinie (near Camp 24/7) - and purchase products from Cat phones, Ministry of Sound Audio and Kodak Phones. We’ll even be celebrating the (hopefully) sunny weather with a 20% discount on accessories bought from the container.

Those who pop over to say hi will also be able to partake in an exclusive competition to win the latest Cat phone device – the S40 smartphone.

All you have to do is pop into the container and follow the instructions to let us know what “Rugged, Refined” means to you.

Throughout the weekend we’ll also be joined by some major names in extreme sports. We’ll be chilling out on Thursday before the races start with extreme canoeist Freya Hoffmeister before catching up with Clemens Hassepaß as he demonstrates some of his kitesurfing prowess (with one of our favourite kites of the weekend) on Friday. We’re also very excited to have flatland BMXer Dan Hennig visit the container on Saturday where he’ll be pulling some tricks and carrying out a few autograph sessions with lucky fans (at 11:30, 13:30 and 16:00).

In between the GC32 racing and all the action at the Silver Bullitt container we think this weekend is going to fly by! If you find yourself with some extra time on your hands stop by and say hello on the Kiellinie in the race village between Thursday 30th July – Sunday 2nd August to find out more about our products and catch some of our athletes in action!
